The SkillsUSA Professional Development Test (PDT) will be administered for the 2026 State Leadership and Skills Championships (SLSC). “The testing window for the Professional Development Test for the SLSC is February 20 – March 20, 2026.”   

Competitors advancing to the 2026 National Leadership and Skills Championships (NLSC) are required to take the SkillsUSA Professional Development Test prior to going to NLSC.  Scores from the test will be added to the competitors’ total overall score within their respective competitions.  Competitors can prepare for the test using the SkillsUSA Professional Development Test Guide.
